It’s time to up your game and improve yourself and your performance, so CrossFit Cypress is announcing a PALEO CHALLENGE. Beginning on Monday, January 31st and running for 6 weeks, the challenge is to be the best you can be, and it all begins with NUTRITION! Good fuel in your body will produce the best results.
Nutrition is the basis of all healthy living, and for 6 weeks you will be challenged to live the Paleo lifestyle.

Cost
The cost to enter the challenge is $30.00. Each participant in the challenge will receive a t-shirt. You can register HERE.
Requirements
Each athlete in the challenge will be required to weigh in and have measurements taken with a CrossFit Cypress trainer at the beginning of the challenge. This must be completed no later than Wednesday, February 2nd, and it should be completed before your scheduled WOD time. (Don’t worry all the numbers will be kept confidential!) Weight and measurements will then be taken again at the end of the 6 weeks, and percentage of decrease will be determined.
Each athlete will also be required to complete two mandatory WODS. The first will be on Monday, January 31st and the second will be on Wednesday, February 2nd. These WODS will then be repeated, under the same conditions, at the end of the challenge.
Winners
First, second, and third place winners will be determined at the end of the 6 weeks in two different catagories, Body Change and Performance Improvement. Percentage of change will be used to detemine the winners. Prizes will be awarded to the top three athletes in each catagory.

We will also provide you with a list of what you can eat and where you can find these foods, as well as handouts with resources to use daily in your venture into Paleo eating!
